How do I bake bread without using yeast?
Bread is one of the oldest foods known to man.
It has been around since ancient times and was even mentioned in the Bible.
The earliest forms of bread were flatbreads, such as chapatis or tortillas.
Today, bread comes in many shapes and sizes, from bagels to pizza crusts.
There are several ways to make bread without using yeast.
One way is to use sourdough starter.
This method requires a long fermentation period about three days.
Another option is to use baking powder instead of yeast.
Baking powder contains leavening agents that react with water to produce carbon dioxide gas.
Carbon dioxide causes dough to rise
